How We Test and Choose Our Readers
Any reader that submits an application to us has to provide a test reading to 3 different people within our organisation whose job it is just to test readers.
All readers must pass at least 2 out of the 3 tests. This is because as in their working life they may come across someone they cannot connect with therefore the 3rd test is sometimes the deciding test.
We look for quality, consistency, telephone manner and specific pieces of information that cannot apply to just anyone. It is ok to give general statements as long as several pieces of specific information that only the client can relate to is given. It is these specific pieces of information which gives a reading credibility.
Readers, who pause too long, continually give generalised or vague statements with no specifics, appear to be just giving advice and not a reading or who ask too many questions fail.
Some applicants are very gifted but have not done it professionally before, therefore they may need training on telephone etiquette before they are allowed to speak to paying clients.
Like most companies we have tested many readers and more often than not it is the readers who have no confidence in themselves often outshine those who are over confident.
We have nurtured readers from the beginning of their professional career and who are still with us, as well as taking on readers who are extremely qualified and are very good at what they do and don’t require any training but all are as good as each other in different ways.
Like any reputable service, we also monitor the quality of the readings that our readers provide by playing back recordings from time to time. We speak to the readers about their readings, which is more often than not to compliment them. If on the rare occasion there is something we need to bring to their attention, we monitor their work until the issue has been resolved.
